Why do people hatee Castlevania: Lament of Innocence?
I thought the game was good, most die hard CV fans said it was “horrible” and that the music SUCKS….yeah
anyways give me your opinion, here is the track to “House of Sacred Remains”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNPqugUrdEM&feature=response_watch
and here is the track to the “Pagoda of the Misty Moon”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhAQeddnaNs&feature=related
Most CV fans (me included, tbh) like the 2d side-scrolling fighting style that it has. lament of innocence is a tekken-style fighting game, with no freedom. This is too much of a change of gameplay for a CV fan to like the game as a CV game. it’s the same with any game though; if the gameplay style changes, the fans don’t like it.
Also, most fans like the traditional music, which appears in a lot of the CV games (such as vampire killer – amazing in my opinion!) and so a change in music is also usually unwelcome.
It’s nothing against the new game, just the differences between it and the rest of the series.
